We ship with USPS during the Spring, Summer, and Fall months

Most plants are shipped bare-root and are carefully protected before shipment. Some Nepenthes plants will be shipped potted and sleeved. If the temperatures are too cold, we won’t offer shipping at all, so please reach out if you have questions about shipping during the Winter months.

At this time, we use USPS for all shipments. USPS shipping timelines vary each week due to the large number of packages being shipped, so keep an eye on your tracking information!

If you place a large order, we may ship using UPS ground due to weight and size. We’ll work with you to get the best shipping pricing if you place a large order. Email us at info@evilpeat.com if you plan on placing an order of 50 or more plants at a time.

For USPS Priority Mail shipments, you should receive your packages within two to four days, but shipping timelines vary. Fortunately, most carnivorous plants are very hardy and will easily survive a few days in the dark with no issues.

Our Shipping Policies

  • We aren’t liable if a shipping company leaves your package outside in extreme temperatures. Please sign up for tracking alerts when you receive your tracking number. For USPS text tracking information, click here. 
  • Temporary stress and mild leaf damage is possible during shipment.
    Boxes are dark and distribution centers can be cold. We purposefully ship many plants bare-root to allow them to breathe as much as possible and to reduce the chance of the pot and soil crushing the plant inside the box.
  • Shipping carrier may experience random service disruptions and take longer to delivery your packages during holidays, please keep an eye on your plant by utilizing the tracking services.
  • We include insurance with all of our packages automatically. 
  • If you suspect any plant damage, you must email us at info@evilpeat.com within 24 hours.
